Stand 1 - SHARE


SHARE is the learning and development organisation for Scotland's housing organisations. Through a combination of accredited courses, training, events, networks and organisational development, we help to ensure that staff and committee/board members: 

  • have the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver quality services
  • carry out the critical oversight of the business
  • are equipped to tackle the challenges facing the social housing sector both now and in the future

Stand 2 - Quality Scotland

Quality Scotland is the National Partner of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) and the official home of the EFQM Excellence Model in Scotland.  Dedicated to helping all organisations in Scotland, whether in the public, private or third sectors, in their pursuit of excellence, our members include a number of housing associations keen to embed continuous improvement through self-assessment against the Model into their organisations.  Many of these have gone on to achieve recognition through Committed to Excellence (C2E) and Recognised for Excellence (R4E), awarded at the annual Scottish Awards for Business Excellence.


Stand 3 - EVH


EVH is fast approaching 40 – and is Scotland’s leading provider of employment services. Despite its advancing years it remains more back office than backache in its support for social employers. It has willingly welcomed middle aged spread too, moving way beyond our traditional roots in social housing to now welcoming to its membership social enterprises of all shapes, sizes and dispositions. EVH is a unique organisation and members joining us benefit from a variety of services, advice and support. We do this as a fully volunteer-led organisation ourselves.

We offer readily available services to meet your employment needs including employment law advice and good practice guides, publications, recruitment, training and events and health and safety services. We also stock our website with model documents, template letters, and other general support information.

Stand 4 - TIS TISLogo

TIS is the leading organisation inspiring innovative Tenant Participation practice in Scotland. As a national membership organisation, we promote excellence in tenant and resident involvement, offering independent advice, support, and training. We support tenants and landlords to work together to improve housing services and standards.

Stand 5 - Scottish Federations of Housing Associations SFHA_logo

The SFHA is the national voice and advocate of Scotland’s housing associations and co-operatives. We promote the work of housing associations and co-operatives across Scotland, who provide housing for around 280,000 households.

Established in 1975, the SFHA is owned by its membership.

Our members own or manage rented housing in our urban and rural areas and develop affordable housing for rent and for part-ownership, using public and private finance.

Housing associations and co-operatives are more than landlords, providing care and support to their tenants, undertaking regeneration activity, and catering for specialist needs amongst the elderly and others.

The SFHA also has over 200 commercial associates.



Stand 6 - ng homesNGHomes_logo

ng homes is a community-based housing association operating across North Glasgow with homes in Springburn, Balornock, Possilpark and Parkhouse. It manages and maintains around 7,000 properties.

Formed by local people in 1976, it has grown into a substantial community business through new-build, regeneration activity and successful stock transfers. ng homes is now one of the largest Housing Associations in the country.

Recent achievements include:
  • Excellence in Regeneration award from the Scottish Government and the Chartered Institute of Housing
  • Best Practice in Developing Communities Award from TPAS Scotland

Stand 9 - The Big Lunch 


Eden Project Communities programme is a year-long series of activities aimed at empowering people to do more in their communities.

It peaks with The Big Lunch which is happening on 3rd June this year. This is a simple one day get-together for neighbours. It encourages people to come together on one afternoon a year to share lunch and conversation. 

 Big Lunch Extras is for volunteers who would like to do more in their community. It’s a free, inspirational, skill building four-day camp based at the Eden Project. Then there’s  support of a Community Network Developer, and membership of a peer network . You can see Big Lunch Extras website here.

All of our services can be individually tailored to your specific requirements. Stand 12 - The Furnishing Service


 The Furnishing Service is the largest furnishing, flooring and cleaning provider in Scotland. We specialise in providing a quality ‘one stop shop’ service that will meet your needs exactly.  

We are dedicated to the social housing sector and work with more than 40 Local Authorities and Housing Associations. We have over 100 employees and have bases in East Kilbride, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Fife and North Ayrshire.  We cover the whole of Scotland and currently achieve a ‘jobs right first time’ ratio of 98%.  

We are a Living Wage accredited employer, have the IIP and IIYP Gold Standard accreditations and are members of the Trading Standards ‘Buy with Confidence’ scheme.

Scottish Housing associations & Co-ops Branch

The union for all Scotland's Housing Association staff. UNITE is Britain’s biggest trade union – a democratic union with progressive policies and
a global vision. Our branch has over 1,200 members and negotiates over salaries, conditions and other employment issues in the Scottish Housing Association sector. This year we opposed the Westminster government’s attack on housing and welfare benefits and we continue to campaign for more public funding for social rented housing. UNITE is keen to work with tenants and committees to achieve this aim.

The Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) is the independent voice of housing and the home of professional standards.  With a growing and diverse membership of over 22,000 people both in private and public sectors.  As set out in our charter we exist to promote the art and science of housing and maximise the contribution that housing professionals make to the wellbeing of communities.  We are a centre of excellence in learning and a leading influencer of decision makers.
